Football player scores a superb goal, proposes to his girlfriend and gets yellow card

It’s only January, but this might be the best what happened in soccer this year.

A football player from Guam Napa Rovers player Ashton Surber had run to the side of the pitch,after he celebrated a fantastic goal by proposing to his girlfriend. The surprise of his girlfriend, his undershirt was printed with the words “Marry Me” after scoring the goal against Guam Shipyard in the Guam Premier division last week.

The referee reaches into his pocket and issues Surber a yellow card for the infraction of removing his shirt during a game. From the referee’s viewpoint, he can’t see the proposal message on Surber’s shirt.However, Surber continued with his proposal by pointing to his girlfriend who was seated in the stands and kissed two fingers in her direction.

Marriage proposals don’t come much cooler than this.
