The Great War is coming in Game of Thrones, and the Season 7 trailer gave us a preview of some of the epic battles and political showdowns we can expect this year. The seventh season of the fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones is set to premiere on HBO on July 16, 2017 and conclude six weeks later on August 27, 2017.

The latest news is Game of Thrones might live on well beyond the core TV series. According to Variety, HBO has closed deals with four different writers to explore "multiple possible spinoffs". It looks like the new season will be full of fast-paced action, as Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) has revealed to Entertainment Weekly his surprise at how quickly things moved this time around. He spoke about reading the scripts for season 7, saying: “I’m like, ‘Already? Now?! What. Everything happened quicker than I’m used to … a lot of things that normally take a season now take one episode.”

The official date for the broadcast of Game of Thrones season seven on HBO in the USA, announced in time-honoured although not very time-efficient tradition via an ice block and a couple of flame throwers, is July 17 2017. The new start date means that the season finale will take place on August bank holiday weekend. So if you're a fan and were planning to get married, go to a festival or head off on holiday that weekend, bad luck.

Trump revealed highly classified information to Russian foreign minister and ambassador

President Donald Trump revealed highly classified information about Isis to the Russian foreign minister and ambassador in a White House meeting last week.

The report said that Trump shared details of intelligence gathered about an Islamic State threat that had been closely guarded within the United States government and among close US allies. The information the president relayed had been provided by a U.S. partner through an intelligence-sharing arrangement considered so sensitive that details have been withheld from allies and tightly restricted even within the U.S. government, officials said.

"The partner had not given the United States permission to share the material with Russia, and officials said Trump's decision to do so endangers cooperation from an ally that has access to the inner workings of the Islamic State. Trump, the paper said, didn’t reveal how the intelligence was gathered, but told them how ISIS was plotting an attack and how much damage such an attack could cause.

He also revealed the city in ISIS territory where the US intelligence partner discovered the threat. After Trump's meeting, senior White House officials took steps to contain the damage, placing calls to the CIA and the National Security Agency. But The White House declared the allegations.

On Monday, Ryan spokesman Doug Andres said that, "We have no way to know what was said, but protecting our nation's secrets is paramount. The speaker hopes for a full explanation of the facts from the administration."

Terrifying Sea Monster Washed Up In Indonesia?

The remains of a giant sea creature were discovered off the shore of an Indonesian island this week, this huge monster causes panic and army response with locals on Seram Island first thinking it was a stranded boat, and nobody's quite sure what it is.

Local media reported that when one of the island’s residents, Asrul Tuanakota, 37, first saw the giant blob, he mistook it for a stranded boat. Some believe the decomposing remains are those of a giant squid, but others say the hulking corpse could belong to a humpback whale. The 50ft-long beast, which stunned onlookers first thought it was a stranded boat, had died in unknown circumstances before it was found on Tuesday.

A video shared by the official Facebook page of the Indonesian Army shows a man describing the creature at length. Local military units are guarding the carcass and attempting to move it onto land so that the water is not contaminated by the decomposition. Indonesian news website Detik reported that marine biology experts examined the remains on Thursday and took samples to identify the creature. The animal is thought to have died approximately two weeks ago. Locals initially feared it had beached itself following an 6.5 earthquake which killed six on Sunday. But scientists said it was likely hit by a ship.

Blue Whale: A Suicide Challenge Game Targets Teens

The game was created by Philipp Budeikin, a former psychology student who was expelled from his university. Budeikin stated that his purpose was to "clean" the society by pushing to suicide to those he deemed as having no value. Blue Whale began in 2013 with "F57", one of the names of the so-called "death group" of the VKontakte social network. It is believed that the first case of suicide related to the game occurred in 2015 in Russia. The game also known as the Blue Whale suicide apparently as a reference to the way the largest mammal beaches and dies at the end.

A game called Blue Whale, in which an anonymous moderator gives participants a series of challenges to complete over 50 days. These are usually some form of self-harm, such as cutting an image of a whale into your arm. At the end of the 50 days, you are told to kill yourself. The name Blue Whale supposedly refers to a habit of whales who beach themselves and die. The agency reported that 130 recent suicides had been “linked” to this practice. The game is based in the relationship between the challengers (also called players or participants) and the administrators.

A new moral panic is working its way across Europe and will no doubt be seized on by North American media. Rumors have been doing global rounds about an application-based shadowy suicide challenge game “Blue Whale” that hacks into users’ phone and cannot be deleted. Many of the reports on this phenomenon claim that if you don’t complete the tasks, you are threatened with some kind of awful retaliation, usually a threat to reveal some kind of secret (which of course the moderator knows about, from having monitored your computer use). You are told that the moderator knows exactly where your live, because of your computer’s IP address.

Recent news reports claim that the game has been "discovered" by a school in the UK and that police forces in France and Belgium have warned parents about the game after Belgian police became aware of three incidents of the game in just one week. There are several shocking pictures of self harm and even jokes about the sick game once you click through. Some include pools of blood on the floor, while others appear to show a whale carved onto an arm.

Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black finally get married

Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black tied the knot at the Bovey Castle Hotel hotel (The Bovey Castle Hotel venue is about 30 miles from Daley's home city of Plymouth), on Dartmoor National Park in Devon, England, surrounded by family and friends, BBC News reported Sunday. The couple shared a series of portraits, taken by Andy Mac Photography, via social media Monday. Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black took to their Instagram pages on Monday morning to excitedly share the first photos from their stunning nuptials.

The 22-year-old Olympian and 42-year-old Oscar-winning screen writer have been together for four years. The diver came out to fans in a YouTube video posted in December 2013, saying his "whole world changed" when he fell in love with a man.

The Olympic diver, 22, uploaded a photo of him and his new husband, 42, walking down the aisle hand-in-hand - sweetly telling fans in the caption that he had finally married "05.06.17 the day I married the love of my life shared with 120 of our closest family and friends from Texarkana to Plymouth," wrote Daley.

Wedding guest Ari Shapiro also shared the picture to his own Instagram feed, disputing a news report from The Sun that claimed Tom and Dustin had opted for a Romeo and Juliet balcony-inspired re-enactment.

Daley was hospitalized just two days before his wedding. The Olympic diver, who won bronze medals at the Olympic Games in London and Rio de Janeiro, posted a photo of himself in a hospital bed Thursday night and promised fans he'd be "back on the board soon." Though he didn't divulge what was wrong with him, he said, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." Suggesting he had suffered some kind of training injury, Daley added, "#AthleteLife."

Black, 42, is a US film director, writer and producer. He won the best original screenplay Oscar for the 2008 film Milk, which was based on the life of gay rights activist and politician, Harvey Milk.

The couple, who have been together for four years, looked overcome with joy as they ventured down the aisle in stylish Burberry suits, with their beaming faces clear to see.

Trump says Obamacare 'dead' after GOP health bill passes House

The House on Thursday passed a new version of a health care bill to replace the Affordable Care Act after the first one failed to get enough Republican support in March. The first step toward delivering on a years-long campaign promise despite mounting concerns from healthcare groups that the legislation would strip protections enjoyed by millions of Americans. The bill still needs to pass the Senate before becoming law.

After years of debate, the House voted Thursday to repeal key parts of the Affordable Care Act and replace them with new provisions. Following the House vote, House Republicans celebrated with a press conference at the White House Rose Garden with President Donald Trump with Several Senate leaders, including health committee Chairman Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.), Vice President Mike Pence, and Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price. Trump touted the bill as a "great plan" even though they got "no support from the other party." The bill passed the House in a narrow 217-213 vote. All Democrats opposed the bill. Democrats chanted "nah nah nah nah, hey hey hey, goodbye" and waved at vulnerable Republicans as the vote passed.

The bill would make deep and sweeping changes to the American health care system. Most controversially, the American Health Care Act would allow insurance companies to charge people with pre-existing conditions higher premiums than healthy people in some states that choose to do so. House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., told MSNBC shortly before the vote began, "We were elected to do this." But passing the legislation is a major relief for House Republican leaders, who had struggled for months to get enough of their members on the same page.

An earlier analysis of the bill from the CBO before several amendments were added projected that 24 million additional Americans would be uninsured by 2026 and that it would reduce the deficit by $337 billion, compared to the Affordable Cart Act. The bill also restructures Medicaid payments to the states, reducing federal spending. Another amendment was added to win back centrists worried about the effect of those state waivers. That change poured an additional $8 billion into high-risk insurance pools to cover patients with preexisting conditions who can’t obtain traditional coverage.

 According to the Wall Street Journal, the changes meant to win over conservatives could also let large employers pick which state they want to buy healthcare from. That could let them skirt rules banning lifetime caps on paying out healthcare coverage for their employees and could return America to the pre-Obamacare days where serious expensive illnesses could force people into bankruptcy. Healthcare-related bankruptcies have fallen by more than half in the years since the law was put in place.

“Death spiral!” the president Donald Trump wrote on Twitter.

Prince Philip Will Stand Down From His Royal Duties This August

Buckingham Palace has announced Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth, will stand down from royal duties. The statement read: "His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh has decided that he will no longer carry out public engagements from the autumn of this year.

Royal household staff were called to an emergency meeting on Thursday morning, causing a storm of speculation over the Queen, 91, and Prince Philip's health. The announcement was made after a meeting of household staff was called at Buckingham Palace at 10am on Thursday.

Prince Philip is set to celebrate his 96th birthday in June, and will continue to attend public engagements until August. He has a reputation for having a genuine concern for people.

The palace said while the queen would continue to carry out her full program of public engagements, she offered her full support to the Duke of Edinburgh, who turns 96 next month. However, a source told NBC before the announcement that there was "no cause for concern" regarding the health of the royals. 

The Queen will continue with her full programme of events.He will continue to be associated with organisations but he will no longer play an active role by attending engagements. "Thereafter, The Duke will not be accepting new invitations for visits and engagements, although he may still choose to attend certain events from time to time."

The article was quickly picked up by some outlets and social media users all over the world. On Twitter, users starting posting that French media were claiming that Prince Philip had died, while the British newspaper The Sun accidentally published an obituary of the Queen's husband.

The queen met with Prime Minister Theresa May to formally dissolve parliament ahead of June's general election and Philip opened a new stand at London's Lord's Cricket Ground.

Late Night Host Jimmy Kimmel Gave A Tearful Monologue About His Newborn Son

In the opening of last night’s of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, host Jimmy Kimmel took a detour from the usual late-night monologue jokes to tell a very personal story about his newborn son William. Jimmy Kimmel made a tearful plea during his opening monologue for better health care for kids in the U.S. 

The monologue included his trademark mix of humor and vulnerability, a winning combination that makes him one of the best storytellers and most relatable hosts of late night television. It was overall an unusual moment for Kimmel, who has been hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live! for 14 years now but rarely ventures into personal storytelling or overtly polemical material.

Kimmel who thanked each of the doctors and nurses who treated little Billy by name showed pictures of the baby buried under a mountain of tubes and wires after the surgery. Within hours of William’s birth, a nurse noticed symptoms of a congenital heart defect, and he was quickly given open-heart surgery to repair the damage. William is fine, Kimmel assured his viewers showing them pictures  of his son  resting peacefully at home. “Poor kid, not only did he get a bad heart, he got my face,” he quipped, one of a handful of jokes he managed to squeeze out in between the tears.

He told the audience how his son, William, was born with a congenital heart disease. With William recovering from the surgery at home, Kimmel was moved to address other families that could have been negatively affected by President Trump’s proposed budget cuts to the National Institute of Health.

Duston Holloway came home one night to find his girlfriend sleeping in bed with some random guy. His response was classic. After he walked in to his bedroom and found his girlfriend passed out drunk next to a random guy, he opted to keep his sense of humor about the unfortunate situation, he decided to record the evidence and let the world know he'd discovered his girlfriend was a cheater. 

Duston Holloway says that initially he wanted to “kick the guy’s a**” but instead took the photos and posted them on Facebook with the caption “when you come home to another man in your bed with the one you loved! Good men deserve good women.” But instead of getting angry, Holloway took sweet revenge and started snapping the pair and posed for a series of pictures. He then posted a series of photos of his ex with her shirtless tattooed companion.

The images see Duston's now-ex-girlfriend passed out next to another guy, and while she has her shirt on, he does not. 

As for him, he appears to be doing fine now, based on this Facebook post from a few days ago.

Ed Sheeran has responded to reports that he could be quitting music at the end of his current tour. He has blasted claims he is set to take a lengthy career break after he's finished touring.

Ed is currently touring the world with his third album. He seems to be enjoying himself very much. Sheeran, whose latest album has surpassed a million sales in the UK and spent 13 weeks at the number one spot with single “Shape of You,” is currently on tour in the UK.

There have been rumours circulating that Ed Sheeran was considering taking time off from the music industry to pursue "regular life" with his girlfriend. The rumours began when the Daily Star quoted "a source close to Ed", saying he was planning on quitting music "for 5-10 years" before releasing another album.

Ed Sheeran the 26-year-old singer has responded to reports that he could be quitting music at the end of his current tour. He responded to this on Twitter saying, 'Das Bollocks'.

An insider told the publication: "Ed has pretty much achieved everything there is to achieve in music. He absolutely loves what he does and is riding the wave of his success at the moment, but at the same time he wants a more normal life.

Tom Perez Is OK With Getting Booed?

Democratic National Committee chair Tom Perez and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) may be headlining the so-called Democratic Unity tour, which kicked off last week, but the DNC chair has found some rather cold receptions received a rude welcome at the DNC’s “Come Together Fight Back” tour stop in Portland, Maine.

At 7 a.m. last Thursday, Tom Perez found himself sprinting through Reagan National Airport, dripping sweat, with no ticket in hand, determined to plead his case to a skeptical flight agent, re-open the boarding door, and take his seat. From Baltimore to Salt Lake City, where he was due to rejoin Bernie Sanders for the final stretch of their week-long tour an early effort by Perez as the new chair of the Democratic National Committee to bridge a divided party and bring alienated progressives back into the fold of institutional politics.

The Socialist crowd cheered loudly for Bernie But when Tom Perez was mentioned they crowd booed loudly. So he made his way home to Takoma Park, got in his car, and re-routed to Reagan National for a 7:15 a.m. nonstop. “I don’t even remember where I parked,” he laughed. In Perez's telling, it wasn't too different from most days on the job as chair.

Concerning his communications skills, Perez has come under criticism by the news media for his coarse language. During CBS’s Face The Nation, host John Dickerson took the DNC chair to task for his language on the rally circuit, noting that it’s coming off as calculated and devoid of substance at a time when the Democratic Party desperately needs a message.

Perez, the 55-year-old former civil rights lawyer and labor secretary, is now two months into the job. Perez beat out Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison a left-wing Bernie Sanders ally in February to become the third DNC chair in the last year.

Charles Zhang Chaoyang, 52, responded to entirely unproven social media reports that Swift has struck up a new romance with a Chinese tycoon in his 50s. Wu Xiao-ping, the owner of Chinese tech company Hangzhou Miyun.

Taylor Swift has been known for her long line of high-profile relationships. She most recently dated English actor Tom Hiddleston, who acted in the Marvel superhero films Thor and The Avengers.

It all started last week when Wu Xiao-ping wrote a post in a forum on Toutiao, a Chinese news app, claiming that "America's number one pop star is dating a middle-aged Chinese tech tycoon." The rumour about Zhang and Swift had surfaced recently after talk on Chinese social media that “America’s number one singer” was seeing a middle-aged tech mogul in China.

Sohu CEO Charles Zhang Chaoyang denied the claim on Friday, going as far as to say he does not even know who Swift, 27, is. After Chinese internet users speculated that he could be Swift’s new boyfriend.
