How to Move Android Application to an SD Card

Many Android phones  come with only 16 or 32GB of internal memory, Almost every smart phone or tablet that is available nowadays in the market and uses android OS has an additional memory card slot in which users can insert the SD card to get additional data storage space. With a chunk of that already taken up by the operating system and preloaded software. After you start adding your own apps, shooting photos and videos and downloading podcasts, you risk running out space.

There are many ways to transfer your information from your phone to your SD card. Here's how to move apps to the microSD card using Android's built-in application management features:

  • Tap Apps.
  • Select an app you want to move to the microSD card.
  • Tap Storage.
  • Tap Change if it's there. If you don't see the Change option,  the app cannot be moved.
  • Tap Move.
  • Navigate to settings on your phone.
  • Tap Storage.
  • Select your SD card.
  • More items.

When you click it your device will ask you to move every information that you have on your SD card. Pictures, music, apps will be automatic transferred.
