I Dare You to Quit Ghosts’n Goblins After 5 min And Here is Why

Hard, simple, good!

The main focus of the game is pretty much the same as in the sequels. Princess Prin-Prin has been kidnapped by demons and Arthur, the one-man army, sets out to rescue her. He's armed with only a lance and dies in two hits; this will happen. A lot.

A true hard as hell masterpiece. Addictive fun for action platform gamers with the desire for a real challenge. Good graphics and engaging, Great music, awsome graphics and glorious old school gameplay. If there's one thing about Ghosts 'n Goblins that people seem to recall is this game will bring the memories of hellish nights in front of your NES/SNES trying to beat those old past games. The good thing about this is. Beating these type of games really makes you feel special.

Many people consider Ghosts 'n Goblins an all-time classic in the 2D action genre. An equal number of people consider it a simplistic, ball-busting torture device that's best left buried in the past. Both groups are right.

There are only six levels, followed by the final boss, but you'll probably come to hate each and every one of them. Red Arremers, which are annoying flying red devils also present in the sequels, appear in even larger quantities here, and there's even a stage where you fight almost nothing but them. Zombies, ghosts, and hungry birds are your most common enemy, though you'll also have to contend with some mad tricky jump sequences and the bosses waiting at the end of each level.

Ghosts’n Goblins puts you in the shoes of Arthur, who must rescue the Princess from the Devil.  In order to do this, you must pass through 7 grueling levels, with only a paper-thin set of armor and then a red speedo separating you from certain death.  When your armor falls off, you can find a new set to put on, but replacements are frustratingly few and far between.  There are five different weapons you can lay waste with, but really the javelin and the sword are the only ones you want to use in general.

Conclusion:
Ghosts 'n Goblins is very similar to the other games in the series. Recomended for everyone that loves a good challenge!
